Free Shipping on Purchases of 5 or More Maps and Prints Description:  It is an original antique map published in an 1870 edition of Stieler's Hand Atlas. The date of 1870 and the name of the publisher Gotha: Justus Perthes is in the bottom center margin, the name of the atlas in the upper right corner. The map is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pic. Nice insets of Rio de Janeiro and Guanabara Bay. Overall, A Beautiful Map that will frame up nicely.  Size: The map image measures approximately 13 by 16 inches on a 15 by 18 1/2" page as seen in the pic. Condition: The map is in Very Good to Excellent condition with overall tonal aging and some darkening around the edges. Other than a couple of small spots in the margin, the map is very clean printed on a heavy page, blank on the reverse with a centerfold as issued. The pics are of the actual map. Disregard the pinkish tint of the pic. Payment Details: We accept Money Orders, Paypal and Personal Checks from buyers with a positive feedback record. We only accept credit cards and bank transfers through Paypal. International Bidders are welcome and encouraged, however we do not accept bank to bank transfers because of the high costs in the US unless buyers wants to pay the $20 fee. If another payment method is desired let us know in advance and we will try to accomondate.
