Description
mctiques store Recently found here in Maine. The second of two very similar paw foot, fire hydrant, cast iron table model sewing machines. Circa 1860 and perhaps a Shaw & Clark model, this one has a "smooth hydrant" instead of being fluted as the first one was. Measures 12"w x 9"h x 8"d. Weighs 9lbs. As is, as found, estate condition. Structurally sound with no breaks in the metal or missing parts. Still sews and works well. Perhaps 20% of original paint decoration remains. Some very light surface rust which will clean. Small 1/4" hole near hydrant . Overall a pretty early American machine in working but "as found" condition. Guaranteed as described. . . Buyer pays actual S/I which will be our cost Priority Mail for most items. If a buyer denies insurance, any loss belongs to the buyer. There is never a handling charge. Maine residents must provide copy of their Annual Resale Certificate or pay 5% sales tax. Will gladly ship internationally but customs documents will reflect purchase price. Please e-mail us if you have questions. Thanks for looking.>
