The carpet production is new in Naein as compared to the other cities such as Yazd, Isfahan, Kashan and Shiraz . Naein was a center of fine textile before W.W.II but carpets export shifted the business to manufacturing carpets and rugs. Majorty of carpets and rugs produced in Naein are exporting all around the world.       Naein rugs are extremely good. One of the most famous master weavers in Naein is Habibian . It is very hard to find real Habibian due to the high demand. The older Naein are hard to find.The carpets that are made in Naein have a curvature in their patterns.  The unique characteristic of Naein carpets is single medallion in blue or ivory background. Ivory, Light and dark blue are the most common colors. You can hardly find Naein with red color in background.The Naein carpets have different size, but majority of them are mid size (4x6 to 8x10 feet).
