Exposed dovetail top over breadboard end lid with maple and mahogany oval inlaid panel with eagle design over four cock beaded graduated drawers. Mahogany urn form inlaid escutcheons flanked by reeded quarter columns. Set on low ogee scroll applied bracket foot. Interior has rare tambour roll center which reveals two large rectangular drawers which slide forward to a secret compartment. Column form drawers with three rectangular drawers on each side over open letter ports. 45" high, 41" wide, 21" deep, old refinish, replaced oval brasses, replaced lid hinges, multiple minor repairs to cock bead.
