Oak Chippendale style Dining Room Set, originally sold at Lammert's, St Louis in 1915. It consists of a 5 ft round table and 7 Chairs, (6 side chairs and one arm chair). The leaves were missing wo we constructed 3-12" ones. As witnessed by the photos there is a variation in the wood pattern in the leaves, which is typical when trying to blend new wood with oak, they do have a fair amount of quarter sawn oak as does the table top, just not as prominent...The table is 8 ft. table when all leaves are installed. On each end of the table are set of double legs that fold down for stability when the leaves are installed. New padding has been installed in the chair seats and they have been re-upholstered in a red tone on tone stripe fabric. The buffet is extraordinarily beautiful, it retains all original wood knobs, it measures 6 ft long by 24" deep, it measures 38" to surface with a 12" back splash, making a total of 50" tall. The china cabinet measures 52" wide by 16" deep by 62-1/2" tall. There is curved glass in the door with straight glass panels on either side and on the ends as well. There are a total of 3 original shelves, double grooved for plates, there are mirrors behind the two top shelves.
