We receive shipment from Europe almost daily, and when we say : We received an item from any particular COUNTRY it does  not mean we KNOW the item or piece was made there. Many of our Linens and other items have been in these Families for many years , Centuries some times, and have most likely moved around with that family, or have been handed down to the next generation.  What was once Handmade many years ago with love & care in Germany, may have ended up in France or even the US. European Linens from these Families  were well cared for, especially the Handmade items. What we receive from France may have been made in Italy, Germany or any other country. Please keep this in mind.  Yes, it is even possible for a Family in France to have owned a Quaker Lace cloth.  Only if we know the actual origin of any piece we sell,  will we state such information in the auction.
