The opening mechanism looks like it has two jade jewels, but it could be glass. It is completely beaded on both sides and has a hanging fringe. The beads are super extra fine and done in an Art Deco pattern. There is about 30 beads per inch. All in very good to excellent vintage condition. The inside of the purse might have had some fabric, which is now missing. The brass colored frame has some engraved pattern on it and on the inside it is marked made in FRANCE. The hanging chain is also done in brass metal linked chain with patterns on it.
