Each issue contains either 12 or 16 pages (most are 16 pgs.) with a great wealth of news of the day not just from England but throughout the world. Each issue begins with several pages of classifed ads providing a fascinating insight into British life in the 1850's. The balance of each issue has a wide range of content, including much on politics, and ends with more classified ads. All of these 79 issues were never trimmed (desirable!) thereby providing the full, wide margins for each issue.  Still tightly bound in period bindings with the leather spine mostly gone and the outer broads loose but present. This volume could easily be disbind for individual issue sale.
